The Preparatory Department of the Academy of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia organizes courses for students and lawyers.
The Preparatory Department implements the following programs:
"Introduction to legal profession” course program for students:
Within the framework of this program, students gain an understanding of the general principles of organization of the legal profession and the practice of advocacy while also acquiring sufficient knowledge to choose a professional specialization.
The total duration of the program is 18 sessions (events).
The duration of each session is 80 minutes (excluding the break).
The duration of each practical session is at least 60 minutes.
"The Path to becoming an advocate" program is designed for the applicants to the Academy of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia.
Within the framework of this program, students and legal professionals prepare for the Academy’s entrance examinations; this includes the opportunity to take a mock test and to prepare for the oral entrance exam via organized lectures.
The program comprises a total of 32 sessions: 24 lectures and 8 practical sessions (including the opportunity to complete test assignments).
The duration of each lecture is 80 minutes (excluding the break).
The duration of the practical session is at least three hours long. The test assignment may be completed within a shorter timeframe.
The preparatory department also conducts other programs designed for students and legal professionals.
