THE CHAMBER OF ADVOCATES OF RA HOSTED THE PUPILS OF THE SCHOOL “USMUNQ”

The pupils of the school “Usmunq” of Russian-Armenian university accompanied by the director of the school Naira Dashyan visited the Chamber of Advocates of RA, Academy of Advocates and Public Defender’s Office.

The chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of RA Simon Babayan and the rector of the Academy of Advocates of RA Ara Zohrabyan greeted the pupils.

The pupils were mainly interested in questions such as “Who is an advocate?” and “What role does he/she have in justice system?”

The chairman of the Chamber of Advocates Simon Babayan introduced them the role of the advocates, their functions and peculiarities of their activity.

The rector of the Academy of Advocates of RA Ara Zohrabyan made an instructive speech about how important it is for a lawyer to have rhetorical speech, knowledge and skills in order to evoke love for reading in pupils.

The rector of the Academy highlighted the fact that reading develops imagination and the horizon of people, as a result of which they can succeed in any sphere.

Then the pupils got acquainted with the activities carried out in the Chamber of Advocates of RA, the Academy of Advocates of RA and the Public Defender’s Office.

During the visit the vice-rector for science and practice Mane Karapetyan talked about the admission process of the Academy, the learning methods as well as answered the question of the pupils.

The chief of staff of the Chamber of Advocates of RA Lusine Sargsyan introduced them the importance of the Public Defender’s Office, the functions of defenders and the conditions of representation and defense in court cases.
