The Preparatory Department of the Academy of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia organizes courses for students and lawyers.
The Preparatory Department implements the following programs:
"Introduction to legal profession” course program for students:
Within the framework of this program, students gain an understanding of the general principles of organization of the legal profession and the practice of advocacy while also acquiring sufficient knowledge to choose a professional specialization.
The total duration of the program is 6 weeks (18 sessions (events)).
The duration of each session is 80 minutes (excluding the break).
The duration of each practical session is at least 60 minutes.
"The Path to becoming an advocate" program is designed for the applicants to the Academy of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia.
Within the framework of this program, lawyers will prepare for the admission exams of the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia through organized lectures covering both the oral and written components; additionally, participants will have access to 10 practice tests and an online questionnaire throughout the duration of the program.
The total duration of the program is 10 weeks.
The duration of each lecture is 80 minutes (excluding the break).
The program features separate tracks specializing in criminal law and civil law, as well as shared general courses.
Courses are conducted in both on-site (in-person) or distance learning (off-site) format.
The preparatory department also conducts other programs designed for students and legal professionals.
